Jeff Jeannette
Principal, Lead Architect & Designer

Jeff Jeannette founded his architectural practice 2000. He understands the delicate balance between the built structure and its impact on the environment. Jeff is a Certified Green Building Professional (CGBP) through Build it Green, affiliated with the United States Green Building Council (USGBC), The American Institute of Architects (AIA), a member of the National Council of Architectural Registration Board (NCARB) among other groups.

Jeff began his career in the field framing homes; gaining a balanced understanding of connections, details, and how homes are truly built. His early construction knowledge makes him a more creative and well rounded architect both in design and detailing.

Receiving his architectural degree from the University of Arizona in 1994, Jeff now specializes in custom residential architectural design for new homes and remodels. He'll listen intently to your desires and goals working with you to develop a home in which you and your family will feel comfortable living.

Laura Sanders
Senior Project Manager

Laura joined Jeannette Architects in 2007 and works at Project Management position as well as being responsible for job scheduling and office management. Working alongside Jeff, she assists with design, production, job coordination and scheduling as well as client interaction. She develops Jeff’s Schematic Design and Meeting sketches, drafting the Preliminary Design drawings in AutoCAD. She integrates closely with Jeremy and Alison making sure Jeff's design intensions are followed through in the final drawing set. She also interacts with the contractors for field questions as they arise during construction.

Graduating with a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Roger Williams University, Rhode Island in 2004, she spent a semester abroad in Florence, Italy immersing herself in Italian culture and architectural forms. Many of the historical and modern-day buildings throughout have shaped her design concepts and process.

Laura enjoys learning and integrating green systems into our homes. She has an extensive history in residential architecture and is in the examination stages to secure her Architectural License; her ultimate professional goal.

Jeremy Phillips
Job Capitan

Jeremy started with Jeannette Architects in 2009 to fill a position as Production Lead; the development of the detailed Construction Documents and Drawings. He receives the Preliminary Design Plans from Laura from which to draft the final drawing and detail set of plans. He interacts with clients, coordinates project consultants, submits documents for Plan Check review at the City and interacts with contractors for field questions as they arise during construction.

With early career hands on experience in construction and an Associate’s Degree from Long Beach City College with a focus in Architecture, he details plans carefully and methodically following through with Building Department reviews and Client/ Contractor interaction in construction.

Jeremy works closely with Laura and Jeff in the final stages of Construction Document development, ensuring the design intent is carried through in the plans.

Alison Jones
Production / Design

Alison joined our team in 2011 providing assistance in the areas of Technical Drafting, Design and general assistance throughout the firm. When you call, she's usually the one to answer the phone… thanks Alison!

In the office, she handles the production end of jobs and provides design support to Jeff, Laura and Jeremy where needed. She interacts with clients for the completion of project Construction Documents and getting your home approved through plan check at the City.

With a 2006 Bachelor's Degree in Architecture from the University of Southern California and years of firsthand experience in both residential and commercial, Alison is a key member of the firm. She's nearly complete with her Professional Licensing Exams in becoming an architect.
